Neues Paleis Potsdam: wallpaper
The New Palace, Neues Palais, in Potsdam is considered to be the last great Prussian Baroque palace and with an excess of splendor in marble, stone and gilt, it was built to demonstrate the power and glories of Prussia. Only during summer, the royal family would spend some time and perhaps then they would have noticed the beauty of the wallpapers used.
We recreated this wallpaper to develop this set of beautiful wearables on behalf of Buchhandlung Walther Konig: a foldable big shopper, a rain hat, a pair of regular socks and a pair of glitter socks.
